Expressions of Interest are now open for the National Advisory Panel - Alcohol Taxation & Alcohol Manufacturers Remission Scheme
Expressions of Interest are now open for the National Advisory Panel - Alcohol Taxation & Alcohol Manufacturers Remission Scheme.
At the Conference, we committed to establishing four National Advisory Panels to support the implementation of the Association's strategic priorities:
- Alcohol Taxation & AMR
- Export Development
- Technical Standards
- Safety & Compliance
These Panels will draw on the expertise of members to strengthen evidence based policy development and ensure the Association's efforts reflect the diversity of Australia's distilling industry.
While each Panel will have its own remit and work to different timelines, all four will develop recommendations, policy positions, and implementation roadmaps for Board consideration.
The Alcohol Taxation & AMR Panel is being established as a priority due to the Government’s review of the Alcohol Manufacturers Remission Scheme and the increasing need for a coordinated industry approach to long-term taxation reform.
You must be an ADA member to nominate and further detail can be found in the document here with the closing date for Expressions of Interest being 5pm (AEST) 20 July 2026.
